Care Quality Commission Rating: Good

Mockley Manor Care and Nursing Home is set in beautiful, well-maintained grounds on the outskirts of the pleasant village of Ullenhall, near Henley in Arden. The home is situated in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside only 7 miles from Redditch town centre and is easily accessible from Stratford, Solihull and the M42.

At Mockley Manor Care and Nursing Home we have created a homely environment within a therapeutic care setting. Our key belief is that both residents and visitors should see, hear and feel that they are at "home". We specialise in providing Nursing Care, Respite Care, Dementia Care and Palliative Care.

We provide privacy and individual space in a range of single and double rooms, many with en-suite facilities. The home has two large communal lounges and dining rooms. There is also a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden and surrounding fields where residents, their families and guests can come and spend some quiet time.

Our belief is that understanding a resident’s past is critical when helping them in the future, and we design care plans that reflect their interests, work and leisure. We appreciate the importance of people’s emotions and treasured possessions and are happy for residents to bring along any belongings which help in their transition from home to life at Mockley Manor.

We have an experienced Activities Coordinator who provides frequent events, outings and occasions for residents, their families and friends. We take time to find out what residents enjoy and try wherever possible to incorporate their hobbies and interests into their daily routine. We also encourage carers to spend time with residents participating in one-to-one activities throughout the course of the day.

Nutrition is an important element of care so menu choices are carefully planned to make mealtimes special. Our residents play a key role in the decision process of choosing of what they would like to see on the menu. We also cater for any residents with special dietary needs or requirements. Mockley Manor has a Dignity Champion who has been trained to ensure each resident’s individual rights and choices are respected at all times.

“Very nice staff, warm and friendly home.”
