Vaccinations

Residents and staff at all nine Coate Water Care homes have had their COVID-19 vaccinations and our homes are a safe environment for new residents.

Visiting our homes

As of May 17, the number of named family members or friends able to visit their loved ones in care homes is increased from 2 to 5. Check with your local home to find out the latest arrangements.

CQC inspections

The CQC has been carrying out special inspections to make sure our care homes are COVID-compliant. There are no ratings for these inspections but our good safety practices have been acknowledged.

Our Caring Team

Coate Water Care owns and manages care homes in Swindon, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Gloucester, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and at every one we have invested heavily in the building and maintenance and in making sure we provide the very latest care home facilities and medical technology.

However, we never lose sight of the fact that the ‘care’ in ‘care homes’ is provided by people and we firmly believe that the best way to guarantee the most professional care possible for all our residents and patients is by investing in our ‘human capital’. Without our highly trained and dedicated staff it would be impossible to provide the caring and safe environment that we pride ourselves on.

“We opened our first small care home in 1995, and as they say, great things grow from little acorns! Twenty five years later we have nine care homes and a team of over 500, including nurses, carers, chefs/cooks, administrators, domestics and maintenance staff. But some things never change – we are still a family-run concern with family values at the heart of everything we do. That means treating people with the same care and respect they would expect from their own family and loved ones. And that means building a team of dedicated professionals who love what they do.”

Geraldine Smith, Co-Founder of
Coate Water Care in 1995
