On Saturday Residents of Arbory residential home near Andover were treated to a special evening to help bring in the Christmas joy..
The German themed Christmas Market took place on Saturday and was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended even the Mayor of Andover.
There were hot German bratwurst sausages along with warm mulled wine being enjoyed by the residents and their relatives along with welcome visitors from the local community.
Cookies and cakes with a warm hot chocolate with marshmallows & cream was order of the day for many of the visiting children.
"Some of the very talented relatives kindly volunteered to make the Christmas huts needed for the Arbory market place and as you can see the finished result looked fantastic."
Said Amanda Timms, Manager at Arbory.
Arbory were very happy to welcome The worshipful Mayor Councillor Martin Hatley to their Christmas market.
The Mayor joined in with the carol singing and even managed to enjoy a Bratwurst and mulled wine in-between meeting residents and talking with relatives.
A big well done to the activities & events management team, Bex & Toni at Arbory who were responsible for creating this fantastic experience for the residents and their relatives.
